COMING SOON ON JAZZ ANTENNA WITH THE NEWEST ALBUM

(JAZZ PRODUCTION)

Founded by clarinettist, improviser and composer Paweł Szamburski in conjunction with two other unconventional musicians: Tomasz Pokrzywiński (cello) and Michał Górczyński (contrabass clarinet). This unusual combination of instruments creates a unique, completely new timbre, which has become the characteristic feature of Bastarda’s style.

„We See The Light 59/62” – Krzysztof „Puma” Piasecki i Adam Wendt

9
th October 2020 music publishing Soliton will release a jazz album by Krzysztof "Puma"
Piasecki and Adam Wendt entitled "We see light 59/62." There are 12 songs on the disc. The material for this album was created under special conditions. 12th March 2020 a nationwide quarantine was announced for the COVID-19 pandemic. The recordings were made on March 13-14 for the so-called one hundred at the Jazz Club "Pod Filarami" in Gorzow Wielkopolski, and then the music was finally processed on the mixing console.
Although during the recordings we did not talk about the pandemic, a new situation for everyone, unconsciously, the atmosphere of those days remained in the sounds and
atmosphere of the music. The meeting setting was amazing: uncertainty about the future, silence outside the club's windows, empty streets, and in the jazz-friendly Mieszko hotel the
artists were the last guests. The recording location is important for Polish jazz, but also for the artists on this album - and
for me personally. In October 2020, the jazz "Pillars", with which I am associated from the beginning to this day, will celebrate its 40th anniversary. All the heroes of the recordings are
also lecturers of the Little Jazz Academy (MAY), organized by the club since 1986 of the 20th century. They introduce young people to the world of jazz, or - more broadly - to the world
of contemporary pop culture developed on the basis of African-American music.Jazz Club "Pod Filarami" is a local government cultural institution of the city of Gorzow
Wielkopolski.

One of the most creative musicians on the polish young music
scene.

He performs over hundred gigs per year as a leader of his solo projects, as well as side man, session musician. He has toured on almost every continent hitting the stages of clubs and festivals all around the world, visiting such countries as

France, United Kingdom, Georgia, China, South Korea, Chile,
Cape Verde and many others. His debut solo album „Landscapes Too Easy To Explain” was released by one of the most prestigious european jazz label– Hevhetia.

During Landscapes Too Easy To Explain over 30,000 km long
2016 premiere tour, the band visited many European countries
(among others: Poland, Spain, Serbia, Romania, Slovakia, the

Czech Republic, and Hungary); they also took part in Jazzpo-
polsku – the longest Asian concert tour promoting Polish jazz

in history.

He has participated and won awards at many international festivals and competitions, such as the Nine Gates Jazz Festival Beijing, Cheoyong World Music Festival, Jeonju International Sori
Festival, Kavkaz Jazz Festival, WOMAD Chile, WOMEX 2015, Kraków Film Music Festival, Crossroads Festival, SlotArt Festival, Cracovia Sacra, Jazz Juniors 2015 (Winner of Grand Prix
